Job Description: Quantitative Analyst
Invesco is looking for a talented Quantitative Analyst with robust development skills to support our Custom Equity team. You will work closely with researchers and portfolio managers to provide critical insights essential for the development and implementation of our investment strategies. You will enhance and operate a proprietary portfolio analytics software platform that manages highly customized taxable accounts. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining the system and analyzing data to deliver investment insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the codebase for a proprietary tax-aware analytics platform, including automation features.
- Develop performance and risk monitoring tools for researchers, portfolio managers, and client portfolio managers.
- Analyze data to measure the quality of investment solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and review monthly performance reports for both internal and external use.
- Produce ad-hoc and bespoke analyses to meet specific client or researcher needs.
Work Experience and Knowledge
- 0-5 years of experience as a developer, analyst, or researcher in portfolio risk and analytics.
- Proficient in Python with extensive hands-on coding experience.
- Experience in cloud-based environments (AWS).
- Familiarity with Snowflake or similar SQL-based relational databases.
- Understanding of quantitative equity investments, preferably with experience in tax-managed strategies.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including optimization techniques.
- Excellence in econometrics and statistics, particularly time-series analysis.
- Experience with risk models, factor attribution, and performance decomposition.
- Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and execute development projects independently.

Formal Education
Degree in a quantitative or technical field, with demonstrated academic excellence.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 - $150,000 per year. The total compensation package includes salary and incentive pay, varying based on skills, experience, and location.
