About the Role

As an Associate in the Prime Financing Quant Research team, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders in the Prime Finance business, technology, and risk teams to drive the implementation of advanced tools and analytics. This requires developing new innovative models and enhancing existing ones. A dedicated technology team will support the quant team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical/statistical models to enhance revenue and profitability for stock borrow-loan, cash, and synthetic financing books
• Devise solutions for systematic book management to improve collateral stability
• Improve risk and pricing workflow of our Synthetics desk using innovative tools
• Deliver quantitative analytics to support decision-making processes
• Maintain adequate control functions

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Advanced degree (Masters, PhD, or equivalent) in Math, Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Significant work experience in a related field
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with senior stakeholders
• Solid understanding of statistics and financial mathematics
• Knowledge of Delta 1 and Equity Derivatives products
• Proficiency in software design and development, particularly in Python or C++

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Machine Learning modeling
