Role: Controls & Data Quality Associate

As a Controls & Data Quality Associate within our Regulatory Reporting team, you'll gain expert knowledge in complex regulations and thrive in a dynamic environment where governance and control have become increasingly critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop the control framework for the CMRR group using established best practices.
  • Identify data quality issues in production and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve them.
  • Review and assess manual calculations in production to evaluate risks and implement remediation measures.
  • Support the production of weekly and monthly metrics packs for governance review by senior stakeholders to ensure control completeness and accuracy.
  • Coordinate and provide responses for internal and external audit requests.
  • Run assessments of new initiatives (NBIA/CM) and manage team coordination.
  • Maintain logs for resubmissions, issues, and errors.
  • Champion procedures, User Tools (UT), and Intelligent Solutions (IS), ensuring team governance for these processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a regulatory reporting environment.
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Audit, or related fields.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • In-depth risk and controls awareness complemented by the ability to think strategically.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and maintain a strong client focus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRR2 and reporting requirements such as COREP Own Funds, FRTB, MREL, Large Exposure, or Leverage.
  • Previous experience in a control team or audit is desirable.
