Job Description

The Dividends/Splits Group at FactSet is crucial in integrating dividends per share into the FactSet universe and ensuring the accuracy of our splits data within our database. As a Research Analyst in GPD Corporate Actions, you will be instrumental in managing and analyzing this financial data with precision and skill.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily team operations including Daily Ingest, performing QA Checks, and overseeing Internal RPD processes.
  • Collect, allocate, and accurately record dividends per their relevant fiscal periods.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of splits added to the Fundamentals database.
  • Respond to queries related to dividends and splits efficiently.
  • Ensure the integrity of dividend records through scheduled updates, including data adjustments and deletions as necessary.
  • Maintain data accuracy in the product through SQL queries, FQL codes, or direct examinations in Workstation.
  • Address changes in dividend schedules, including cancellations and postponements, by monitoring relevant alerts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • A demonstrated interest in Global Stock Exchanges, Investing, and Equity Trading.
  • Exceptional skills in time management, prioritization, and working independently with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage and analyze large datasets comfortably.
  • Eager to learn new technical terminologies and processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and address real-time data challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work in various shifts as needed.
