Caretta Research is a worldwide media and technology market research and consultancy firm based in Athens, Lisbon, and London. We are rapidly growing and seeking new team members in Athens, Greece. Qualified individuals should possess a genuine enthusiasm for analysis, consulting and research, an active interest in the media or technology industry, and an ambition to become an international expert, consultant and strategic adviser. Our clients consist of some of the world's largest technology suppliers, along with prominent broadcasters, telecoms operators, streaming platforms, and studios. We are seeking entry-level analysts with an acute eye for detail, a passion for research, a curiosity about new market and industry trends, and a diligent approach to working with data. We require someone who can work on open-ended research projects about topics across the media and technology market. This includes performing desk research, data analysis, data entry, conducting interviews with technology suppliers, and data modeling. Knowledge of databases, coding, and Excel is beneficial. The ideal candidate will be proficient in quantitative and qualitative research and able to provide data outputs and written analysis. We are looking for individuals with proven qualitative and quantitative skills. • A good undergraduate / Bachelor's degree (higher than 7/10 in Greece, 2.1 in the UK) or Masters degree with clear transferable skills - degrees can be from a wide range of disciplines. • Ideally, a few years of experience working with data or in a consulting, marketing, or strategy role. • We value day-to-day work experience, whether in the hospitality/service industry or in an office environment. • Fluent English is essential. Knowledge of other languages is a plus. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Fluency in business tools such as the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) or Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs etc). • Additional skills around programming (PHP, Python), databases (SQL), business analytics tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), or creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud; InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) could be useful. •Must have a valid EU work permit and residency. Our application process involves: 1. An application form. 2. Two 3-minute video questions. 3. An initial interview with the hiring manager. 4. A set of tests about research, analysis, and logic. 5. A presentation of the findings and outcomes from the tests to the team at Caretta Research. We aim to get successful candidates through the process within about 2-3 weeks.
