The Opportunity:

This role supports internationally recognized and federally maintained ecotoxicology databases and applications, influencing both federal agencies and the public.

Key Responsibilities:

In this pivotal role, you'll manage teams dedicated to enhancing an ecotoxicology knowledgebase and associated software like CCTE GIS and Factotum. Responsibilities include data analysis, data management, model building, and the development of various applications. You will take charge of projects from inception to completion, managing every aspect of project delivery. This includes organizing, planning, directing, and overseeing project execution while collaborating with key stakeholders to review contracts and manage resources efficiently using tools like MS Project.

Who You Are:

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Over 7 years of experience in project management and data analytics.
  • Proven leadership in complex programs and projects for federal clients.
  • Strong ties with the research community, including working with Principal Investigators or scientists.
  • Extensive experience in supporting Federal Government programs.
  • Skills in script-based data mining, extraction, and processing using languages like Python or R.
  • A bachelor's degree (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related fields preferred).
  • The ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in toxicology related projects.
  • Familiarity with EPA policies and data integration strategies relevant to research and risk assessment.
  • PMI or PMP Certification.
