A Corp Lab at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is excited to announce an opening for a Research Engineer II. We are seeking a dedicated professional who will contribute to pioneering research in graph-based reasoning networks to enhance facial landmark detection models.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Engineer II, you will:

  • Develop graph-based reasoning networks specifically designed for facial landmark detection.
  • Implement spatial-temporal graph-based reasoning networks to boost the accuracy of video facial landmark detection.
  • Create stabilization methods geared towards video facial landmark detection.
  • Advance graph neural network theory.
  • Expand on sequence modeling theory.
  • Innovate deep learning methods and related theories.
  • Develop cutting-edge computer vision techniques.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Master's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Have a robust mathematical background.
  • Preferably have publications in top-tier AI venues.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision theories.
  • Experience with at least one Deep Learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and programming languages like Python, Matlab, R, and/or C/C++.
  • Demonstrated project experience in graph-based reasoning and facial landmark detection is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
