Role Overview: Research Engineer II (IT/Data Engineer)

We are looking for a dynamic full-time IT/Data Research Engineer to advance our major research programs. This role is crucial in supporting and propelling the groundbreaking work we do at the EMPOWER Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform user requirement analysis and assist in designing IT and data management solutions tailored to our research needs.
• Plan and execute the deployment of cutting-edge IT solutions.
• Manage procurement processes, including the preparation and evaluation of tender specifications and contract management.
• Collaborate with researchers and administrative staff to enhance our data management systems and network infrastructures.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced industry or commercial setting.
• Experience in managing IT projects and supporting technical aspects of research dissemination activities such as workshops and public outreach.
• Proven track record in IT solutions, data management, or related fields.
