This role requires a skilled Research Engineer II or a Research Scientist committed to pushing the boundaries of research in smart city technology and sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities

Research Excellence: Engage in high-level research activities at Corp Lab, working directly under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).

Innovation in Smart Cities: Develop new theories, models, and algorithms focused on areas such as digital twin technologies, geometric modeling, AI, and deep learning, with an emphasis on enhancing smart city frameworks.

Advanced Development: Implement and refine algorithms and prototype tools aimed at 3D reality reconstruction and interaction using cutting-edge technologies including point clouds, 3D mesh, and more.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior research staff and students, fostering a collaborative and enriching work environment.

Community Contribution: Actively contribute to the scientific community through the publication of research papers, development of patents, and creation of innovative software tools.

Job Requirements

Educational Background: Ideal candidates should possess a Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrable experience in geometric modeling, computational geometry, AI, deep learning, and related applications. Strong programming skills in C/C++ or Python are essential.

Professional Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and take responsibility for projects.
