Key Responsibilities
As part of our dynamic team, you will be tasked with:
- Developing both physics-based and data-driven models to effectively characterize the dynamics of interconnected data center systems. This includes aspects of computing, cooling, and electric supply.
- Creating advanced optimization algorithms aimed at minimizing carbon usage while adhering to system constraints.
- Supervising and mentoring junior graduate students to foster their academic and professional growth.
- Producing a range of technical documents such as papers, patents, and technical disclosures.
- Collaborating closely with team members and engineers to spearhead new feature developments.
- Ensuring the responsiveness of applications and resolving issues promptly as they arise.
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control and Science Engineering, Information System, or a closely related discipline.
- A strong research track record, with publications in top-tier computer science or engineering journals and conferences preferred.
- Expertise in Python and associated packages such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as C/C++ or MATLAB.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and robust problem-solving capabilities.
- A keen attention to detail.
