Position Summary

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for an intern to join our team for a 4-6 month internship focused on pioneering audio-visual synthesis technologies. This position centers around lip motion synthesis and head movement using cutting-edge diffusion-based methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize lip motion and head movement from audio input using diffusion-based methods.
• Conduct independent research and develop algorithms that leverage recent advancements in audio-visual synthesis.
• Collaborate in our dynamic research team, contributing to groundbreaking developments that set new industry standards.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be currently enrolled in a PhD program, ideally with prior experience in virtual talking heads or emotion-based talking synthesis. Key qualifications include:

• Experience in training diffusion models, particularly in image synthesis.
• Familiarity with technologies used in animating emotions in visual projects, like those seen in 'emote video alive' applications.
• Previous research experience demonstrable through contributions to major conferences in computer vision/graphics, deep learning (ECCV, ICCV, CVPR, SIGGRAPH).
• Although not mandatory, a publication record is highly advantageous.
