Internship Details: Our dynamic internships span twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks, with flexible start dates throughout the year, providing hands-on experience and engaging projects that contribute to your professional growth.

Role: Research Scientist Intern, Metrology and Process Development (PhD)

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive research in thin film development and characterization for cutting-edge microLEDs.
• Analyze structural, electrical, and optical metrology data to draw critical conclusions.
• Collaborate closely with a team of researchers to communicate research strategy, advancements, and findings.
• Contribute to high-impact research publications and presentations within cross-functional forums.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently obtaining or already holding a Ph.D. in Optical Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in optical research, particularly in semiconductors and optoelectronic devices.
• Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Expertise in material fabrication and characterization techniques like ALD, MOCVD, and SEM.
• Must secure work authorization in the hiring country and maintain it throughout the employment period.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong intent to return to your degree program after completing the internship.
• Proven ability to drive significant outcomes as evidenced by scholarships, publications, or patents.
• Effective communication skills and a proven team player.
• Excellent organizational skills and a detailed-oriented mindset.
