Job Description

HII's Mission Technologies division seeks an Operations Research Analyst 1 (Research Scientist) for the Joint Force Development Research and Analysis for Joint Staff J7 (JS J-7) contract at our Suffolk, VA Joint Staff Complex.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform quantitative analysis of operational activities to support decision-making using logic, scientific, and economic techniques.
• Develop and implement modeling and measuring techniques with mathematical, statistical, engineering methods, and operational mathematics principles like linear programming, game theory, and probability theory.
• Execute basic professional tasks demonstrating skill and ability in technical problem-solving.
• Provide recommended solutions to technical issues as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 0 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field or a High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Physical Requirements

Performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity typical of the Systems Analyst discipline in an office environment.
