Job Description

Main Purpose of Job: As part of Deloitte's Analytics team, you as a Data Migration Senior Consultant will facilitate complex data migrations, manage risks and support our clients in refining their business strategies through effective data integration. Your role will not only contribute to but also steer the data migration initiatives under the guidance of the Data Migration Team Lead.

Role & Responsibilities

• Developing and executing data migration solutions and processes.
• Driving continuous improvements by applying your in-depth knowledge of data migration methodologies and tools.
• Undertaking tasks such as data profiling, source-to-target mapping, and designing ETL jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to manage and execute project deliverables efficiently.

Technical Competencies

• Solid understanding and practical knowledge of data quality principles, data profiling tools, and source to target mapping.
• Experience in data governance, master data management, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with data migration frameworks, and high-level programming languages like SQL and SAS.

Behavioral Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• High adaptability and commitment to quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates will ideally possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, accompanied by at least three years of hands-on experience in data migration projects.
