Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Risk Analyst, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day client support, helping clients use Verisk’s software platforms and understand catastrophe models and their output.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate resolutions.
  • Communicate Verisk’s solutions to new and existing clients across various experience levels.
  • Develop project timelines and manage client deliverable expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with model users and consumers to facilitate optimal solution utilization.
  • Support new client onboarding alongside internal teams, including training and workflow design.
  • Perform diverse risk analyses for consulting projects, client support, and internal initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business development and senior management to maintain client-specific performance objectives.
  • Assist with model and product change management efforts during updates or new feature introductions.
  • Provide feedback for product evolution based on client interactions and personal use.
  • Support sales efforts in a technical and pre-sales capacity, serving as an ambassador of Verisk.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of probability concepts.
  • Proficiency in risk analytics and/or data modeling software.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in risk management and data modeling (advantageous, but not required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Programming skills in SQL, R, Python (highly beneficial).
  • A keen interest in catastrophe modeling.

Educational Requirements

Fresh graduates with a degree in mathematics, actuarial science, geographic, environmental, or climate science are encouraged to apply.
