At JPMorgan Chase & Co., we are seeking a talented Risk Data Strategy and Analytics Reporting Associate to enhance our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing innovative analytics and strategic recommendations, focusing on strategy development, implementation control, and performance monitoring within our risk team.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our risk department, you will be engaged in:

  • Developing cutting-edge Risk reports as part of our next-generation suite.
  • Executing comprehensive end-to-end reporting and adhering to data standards in line with the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) principles.
  • Crafting robust data and reporting tools tailored for our senior management.
  • Automating production routines to boost efficiency across all processes.
  • Maintaining and creating user acceptance tests/business scenarios for new or revised reports across all CCB lines of businesses (LOBs).
  • Collaborating closely with Onshore, India Lead, Technology, and LOB Report Owners to analyze and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Modifying and working with technology on Cognos/Tableau/Alteryx/SAS reports.
  • Performing data reconciliation and analyzing the impact on the business.
  • Understanding the requirements of CCB lines of businesses and deriving necessary reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Ideal candidates for this position should have:

  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Reporting and Analytics.
  • Profound technical proficiency in SQL, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • An advanced understanding of SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, or other decision tree software.
  • The ability to manage large datasets using SQL and convert raw data into substantial management information.
  • Adeptness in risk analytic techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • A proven track record of delivering strategic recommendations to management.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Additional expertise in regulatory modeling (IFRS9/CECL/CCAR) is preferable.
