Do you want to play a key role in developing near real-time software solutions in the field of robotics and automation technology at an application level? Are you interested in Artificial Intelligence and Vision?

As our new Robotics Automation Engineer, you will join a cross-functional R&D team composed of highly skilled individuals specializing in vision, mechanical, electrical engineering, data analytics, and software development. We aim for a high competence level.
The position is based in Aarhus, and you will have stakeholders within the organization, both locally and internationally.

Participate in an exciting journey
You will take on a crucial role in our journey by ensuring a high level of technological readiness and familiarity with robot and automation technology. You will work on developing real-time software and elevate existing technology to a higher utilization level as well as creating new products and solutions. Furthermore, your tasks will involve:

  • Being part of the R&D team, contributing to project development as a software specialist.
  • Taking part in the full journey; from product ideation through exploration, validation, and development to the first test installation at a customer’s site.
  • Developing near real-time software using applied robot and automation systems, keeping logistic systems and airports market in mind. Commonly on an industrial PC level, Linux or Windows-based. Robot types like 6 axis Fanuc, Schneider, Kuka etc.
  • Assisting with configuring and programming of applied robots and motion control.
  • Participating in the validation of relevant technologies
  • Handling and organizing large data sets, and performing analysis and optimization.

Your background:
We are looking for someone passionate about AI, vision, and real-time software, who is eager to utilize these in a robotics and automation technology context. We envisage that you might have:

  • An education in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related field
  • Experience with robotics and automation technology – possibly from a similar or related industry
  • Experience with near real-time software and a firm grasp of C#. Knowledge of Python could be an advantage.
  • Interest in robot software and technologies in combination with vision applications.
