Robotics Engineer Opportunity at Booz Allen Hamilton

Key Role

Join our team and support the research and development of advanced robotic and unmanned systems. Work at the cutting edge of software and hardware integration to design, build, test, and demonstrate innovative robotic capabilities that solve complex problems in sensing, autonomy, and human interaction. This role applies foundational principles, theories, and concepts to address routine problems and will refer more complex issues to higher-level experts. You will work under direct supervision to achieve our mission objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in robotics engineering and prototyping
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, ROS, or Rust
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical systems, electronics, and software integration
  • Ability to present research findings and recommendations to clients and leadership
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with robotic simulation and testing software
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in robotics
  • Experience with ML, computer vision, and deep learning algorithms
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Secret clearance

Compensation

We celebrate your contributions with a competitive compensation package. Salary Range: $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). This range represents typical compensation and is one component of the total package.

Work Model
