The RPA Developer role primarily focuses on Business Process Automation (BPA), Remote Process Automation (RPA), and Machine Learning (ML) / Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. The aim is to streamline internal processes and improve efficiency by reducing manual efforts through automation. Your responsibilities will include the technical design, development of new technology POCs, and long-term planning for technical architecture.
Location Options
This position is open to candidates across the US for 100% remote work, on-site at our Corporate Campus in Neenah, WI, or as a hybrid arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand internal processes and identify automation opportunities with input from customers, business units, and subject matter experts.
- Provide technical expertise in RPA/BPA/ML/AI and set the direction for automation improvements.
- Develop and enhance solutions to meet automation needs, reducing FTE hours.
- Create data visualizations to communicate complex data effectively.
- Mentor other technical staff and build internal expertise in automation technologies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in Automation / ML / AI and communicate changes and strategies effectively.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors, end users, and internal stakeholders on systems requirements and enhancements.
- Maintain a robust understanding of current technology tools and their potential impact on the department.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in analysis, technical design, coding, and testing of applications, including 3 years in automation technologies like ML/AI.
- Proficiency with RPA/BPA tools such as QuickBase.
- Experience in integrating enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of relational database design, API design, and RESTful web services.
- Experience mentoring technical staff.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Technical Skills
- Expertise in process automation tools.
- Knowledge of Java, React, C# .NET Framework, ML / AI tools, HTML & JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency in SQL Server development and database structures.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables.
