What is the Opportunity?

The Consumer Goods & Services (CGS) practice within the S&C Global Network focuses on developing value growth strategies and integrating AI & GenAI to address our clients' key business imperatives, such as revenue growth and cost reduction. As a manager in Data Science, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative AI solutions that enhance decision-making and improve business efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Presentation: Analyze extensive datasets and synthesize insights for presentation to key decision-makers with expertise in consumer goods data sources like Nielsen, IRI, EPOS, TPM, Financial / P & L, etc.
• AI & Analytics Expertise: Evaluate AI and analytics maturity within the sector, crafting data-driven solutions across various business domains.
• Value-Driven Solutions: Design strategies that deliver enduring and substantial benefits to clients.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Guide the development and execution of data science initiatives, oversee project outcomes, nurture team growth, and contribute to thought leadership.
• Client Engagement: Maintain robust, cooperative relationships with clients, resolving any issues promptly and serving as the chief liaison.
• Innovative Solution Development: Spearhead the creation and implementation of bespoke advanced analytics solutions using Accenture’s cutting-edge platforms and tools.
• Technical Proficiency: Use programming languages like Python, PySpark, R, SQL for data analysis and model development.

Who are We Looking For?

Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or an MBA specialized in Data Science from a top-tier institution. Ideal candidates will bring 7-9 years of direct data science experience, particularly within the Consumer Goods sector, and demonstrate a proven track record in client-facing roles and leading sizable project teams.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced proficiency in Python, R, PySpark, SQL, and familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Demonstrated expertise in a broad spectrum of analytics solutions and machine learning techniques.
• Exceptional communication skills and a detailed-oriented mindset focused on problem-solving.
• Preference for candidates familiar with Power BI, Tableau, and holding Data Science certifications.
