Role Overview

In this cross-disciplinary role, you'll join our R&D team at the exciting intersection of scientific computing and machine learning/AI. You'll need an advanced degree in computer science or electrical engineering, coupled with a robust set of preferred skills:

  • Expertise in modern deep learning/AI technologies such as LLMs, graph neural networks, transformer architectures, CNNs, reinforcement learning, and more.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Ability to apply complex algorithms and theoretical knowledge practically.
  • Experience in computational electromagnetics, thermal analysis, or similar fields is a plus.
  • Understanding of statistical inference and familiarity with physics-informed machine learning trends.
  • Previous work with optimization algorithms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position is based in British Columbia, with an annual salary range of 87,500 CAD to 162,500 CAD. Eligibility for incentive compensation includes a bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits such as:
