What will be your responsibilities?

Hold a distinctive position in the market, at the Corp Data team that promotes data-driven decision-making across the People & Places division. They supply vital data and insights to improve attraction, development, motivation, and retention of our most significant resource – our people, across a wide range of people issues: hiring, training and development, organizational health, employee engagement, diversity, total rewards, retention, program effectiveness measurement, and everything related to the worker life cycle and People & Places.

  • You are a proactive individual with industry experience in SQL, Data Modeling, and pipeline design.
  • You have implemented ETL pipelines in Hive, Spark, or another MPP database architecture.
  • You are proficient with Spark and Presto and have used either or both to process huge volumes of data.
  • You are confident in coding in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • You have exhibited expertise in reliably managing hundreds of ETL pipelines as per stringent SLAs and swiftly identifying and rectifying complex data issues.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughly tested code, and comprehensive documentation are the key features of your work, but you are equally adept at explaining concepts in broader terms to a non-technical audience.

What will contribute to your success

  • 3+ years of Data Engineering Experience - Designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining data infrastructures.
  • SQL Specialist – Profound knowledge and seasoned experience with SQL Queries (strong in outer joins, aggregations, unions, and understanding of window functions).
  • Data Modeling Experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one language: Python, Java, Scala, or Go.
  • Substantial ETL experience.
  • Able to diagnose data issues in dashboarding tools and recommend solutions.
