About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior AI Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of AI/ML principles and extensive hands-on experience in software development and data engineering. You will work closely with the SH Data & Cloud Solutions Lead, requiring deep technical expertise in developing and deploying bespoke solutions using various technologies. Additionally, your stakeholder management skills will guide your design, and your commercial awareness will ensure success. Technically, there is a strong focus on Azure Cloud services, CI/CD, and web application development.

In this dynamic role you will:

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions, including computer vision applications and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
• Utilize libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and OpenCV to build robust models.
• Develop and maintain custom web applications using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging services such as Azure ML Studio, Azure Functions, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, front-end developers, and business stakeholders.
• Implement various ML algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, and neural networks.

What you will bring to the team:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, and software development.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying custom solutions using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Extensive experience with data engineering, particularly within Azure Cloud services.
• Proficient in Python and relevant libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
