Join ICON as a Senior AI Data Engineer I

ICON is searching for an entrepreneurial Senior AI Data Engineer I to become an integral part of our expanding team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that drives our data-centric products and services. Collaborate with our AI engineers, data labelers, and external data providers to create extensive, high-quality datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design workflows, tools, and services for managing extensive datasets.
• Develop and maintain large, high-quality datasets.
• Identify and source new data.
• Build infrastructure to support data labeling, data review, and machine learning.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
• Construct scalable data storage and processing solutions.
• Develop efficient algorithms and data models to curate data and uphold high quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years of data management experience.
• Proficient with Python and cloud data services.
• Hands-on experience with data storage technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience collaborating with external organizations.
• Proven experience in building large machine learning datasets.
• Proficiency with AWS Cloud development kit.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD workflows such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Travis.
