Job Description

As a Senior Algorithm Engineer - Computer Vision at OMNIVISION, you will be responsible for researching and developing innovative computer vision and deep learning algorithms tailored for a variety of image applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and optimize computer vision and deep learning algorithms for image applications such as object recognition, face recognition, video analytics, image quality enhancement, and 3D reconstruction.
• Explore, design, and implement new algorithms/features based on marketing requirements.
• Conduct algorithm testing and validation to ensure efficacy and accuracy.
• Integrate algorithms into system architecture seamlessly.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Ph.D. or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics, with equivalent practical experience.
• Broad knowledge in computer vision topics including deep learning, object recognition (detection, classification, segmentation), tracking, stereo, and/or 3D reconstruction. Knowledge of image sensors is a plus.
• Strong expertise in independent algorithm research, with a robust mathematical background considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming, scripting languages such as Python or Matlab, and extensive experience with OpenCV.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
