Base Pay Range: $94,400.00 - $160,500.00 Annually

Job Description and Preferred Qualifications

Are you passionate about creating innovative algorithms that go beyond the conventional? We’re seeking individuals who relish tackling challenging technical problems and providing outstanding creative solutions within a determined team. Bring your validated experience to develop new algorithms for KLA’s cutting-edge inspection products.

This role involves:

• Driving creative ideas, implementing proof of concepts, and evaluating new algorithms
• Providing technical expertise to support team members, collaborators, and customers
• Becoming an authority and indispensable member of the KLA Algorithm team while broadening your knowledge and leadership in the Image Processing field

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of experience in Image Processing development (including spectral/spatial filtering techniques, model-based methods, and inverse problems)
• Proficiency in prototyping algorithms with MATLAB or Python, and implementing them in C++ under Linux
• Full stack experience with data and backend infrastructure, front-end, and user interface for algorithms
• Strong image processing fundamentals, with familiarity in Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques, CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow), and Data Analysis and Visualization tools
• Industry experience solving computer vision challenges

Hybrid Work:

This role offers flexible working arrangements, requiring at least 2-3 days a week at the office.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience and a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience, or equivalent work experience is required.
