Job Title: Senior Analyst - APAC

Job Description

Your mission as a Senior Analyst will be to deeply understand the needs of APAC customers and help your team focus on solving their most critical problems. This role is centered on ensuring that money moves in and out of Wise in the most seamless, cost-effective, and fast way for customers. Your goal will be to impact parts of our product to help us scale 10x by enabling core functionality for global money transfers.

How You’ll Contribute

• Provide data-driven insights to inform product decisions, from improving our onboarding flow to reducing friction.
• Partner with Product Managers and other Analysts to set KPIs for the APAC team and monitor the impact of new product features on conversion, stickiness, and engagement.
• Understand customers and the impact of our product on their lives.
• Build conviction on high-value areas and challenge them if there are faster or more effective ways to grow the market.
• Inspire a team environment where ideas are shared and openness is valued.
• Contribute to the wider product goals of the company to achieve our Mission: Money without borders.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical skills in Python, advanced SQL, and BI tools.
• A strong analytical mind and product intuition.
• Experience working with technical teams (PMs, engineers, designers, analysts).
• Relevant experience in a data-driven and complex environment with limited guidance.
• Understanding of events data such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude, or similar.
• Excellent data visualization and presentation skills.
• A hustler mentality – the ability to take work beyond analysis and get things done.

Good to have:

• Knowledge of the fintech ecosystem.
• Experience with utilities like Airflow, GitHub, DBT.
• Experience in funnel optimization.
• Background in Data Science and Machine Learning.
• Interest in learning new tools.
