Job Description

The Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence will employ their expertise in data analysis to assist the BI team, along with Media and Strategy counterparts, in fulfilling all client and publisher reporting requirements. You will become proficient with the data sources available to the BI team, create dashboards for analyzing media/marketing ventures, and convert those findings into potential business outcomes for our clients. As a direct report of a BI Manager, you'll assist in training new members of the team and managing the workload to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.

  • Ensure that all data is properly represented in all reporting tools through quality control procedures.
  • Engage with data partners to prepare data and resolve issues, including data inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
  • Formulate measurement plans detailing the strategy needed to assess brand performance.
  • Gather marketing and industry research to provide performance benchmarks, industry updates, market scans, executive summaries, and client reports.
  • Transform accessible media campaign data into insights about the success of our programs in affecting the behavior of our target audience (likely healthcare professionals, patients/prospects, or a mix of the two).
  • Cooperate with BI Leadership to use these insights as the foundation for presentations, reports, and various client deliverables.
  • Maintain professional relationships with internal (PHM) team members by communicating and addressing all data needs that BI is tasked with.
  • Possess a clear understanding and demonstrated ability to coach beginner employees about the basics of BI Reporting platforms, such as Google Display & Video 360 (DCM), Data Visualization tools (Datorama, Power BI, Tableau), Search Ads 360/Adwords, Social Reporting (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter), and Web Analytics (Analytics360/Omniture).
  • Contribute to competitive analyses and best practice audits.
  • Work independently and manage multiple deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Analytical skills with proven abilities in strategic and tactical thinking.
  • Data visualization skills.
  • Contribution to larger team projects.
  • Understanding of how clients utilize all aspects of their multi-channel marketing mix to engage their customers.
  • Practical experience with digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS excel (capable of executing complex functions).
  • Experience in program measurement (online or offline) and test design.

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree (preferably a BS in a related field) is required.
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in data/analytics consulting or quantitative marketing/analysis (preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences).
