Role Summary:

As a Senior Analyst in Data Analysis, you will be instrumental in understanding business requirements and enhancing Tesco processes through continuous improvement (CI) tools and technology. This role involves solving complex business problems by analyzing data, synthesizing insights, and executing solutions within specified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep dive into business needs and develop a thorough understanding of Tesco's processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical terms and execute detailed analysis.
• Manipulate, analyze and ensure the integrity of large data sets from various sources.
• Develop, automate, and maintain reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.
• Collaborate across teams to implement and measure the impact of analysis and data-centric projects.
• Contribute to the development of knowledge assets and reusable data modules.

Requirements:

• Proven ability in making business decisions and developing visualizations, self-service dashboards using Tableau.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python, and data warehousing concepts (Hadoop, Teradata).
• Experience with data tools including Hive, Alteryx, and basic statistical concepts (Correlation Analysis, Hypothesis Testing).
• Ability to handle high-volume, time-sensitive projects and deliver precise results.
