Position Overview

If you have a passion for finance and excel in data manipulation and extraction, we want to hear from you! As a Senior Analyst in Global Data Management, you'll play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our core investment data.

Responsibilities

• Support the data needs of Fiera Public Markets, Private Markets investment teams, and Global Business Operations teams.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of data for trading, portfolio analysis, and reporting.
• Manage data quality and ensure high business confidence in the data.
• Resolve data exceptions and rejections promptly.
• Compare accounting system data with order management system data to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and validate new securities in the system.
• Complete daily and monthly tasks related to pricing and validation of securities.
• Drive data quality improvements and recommend resolutions for identified issues.
• Partner with other Operational Teams to solve issues and enhance processes.
• Learn multiple functions at an accelerated pace and quickly adapt to diverse roles and management styles.
• Document workflows and procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of various security types, including equities, loans, and derivatives.
• 3-5 years experience within an operations team of an investment management firm.
• Proficiency in managing data entities such as security master data, pricing, and transactions.
• Experience with data vendors like Bloomberg, IDC, Reuters, or Rimes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of database languages a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume work environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a continuous process improvement mindset.
• Team-oriented, results-driven with a passion for excellence.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.

Additional Information

Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid work environment with 3 days in-office per week.
