You'll analyze security aspects, tackle security issues, develop security automation, and swiftly respond to new threat scenarios. Collaborate with Amazon developers to create secure-by-default solutions, and learn from our leading experts in cutting-edge services.

Responsibilities

Job Locations

We are open to candidates in Toronto, ON, CAN, and Vancouver, BC, CAN.

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in security engineering, including threat modeling, secure coding, identity management, system administration, and more

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing security solutions at the business division level
• Understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS)
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby, Python, Perl, etc.)
• Strong teamwork, ownership, urgency, and drive
• Excellent analytical, design, and communication skills

The base salary for this position ranges from $180,900/year to $302,000/year, depending on factors such as experience and job-related skills.
