Position Overview

As part of Autodesk’s dynamic Applied ML team, the Senior Applied Scientist will operate remotely or in a hybrid setting. This role demands a profound expertise in machine learning, as we seek a candidate who excels in developing robust ML models, conducting intricate statistical analysis, and enhancing our analytical solutions in line with our forward-thinking business strategies. Core Responsibilities:

The right candidate will:

• Analyze customer usage and promote Autodesk solutions, driving product development and strategy.
• Design and implement machine learning pipelines to improve decision-making capabilities in collaboration with team leaders from various functions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute significantly to crucial machine learning features under the Applied ML Manager's guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, you need a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant areas, complemented by at least four years of industry experience. You must demonstrate proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark, and programming languages like Python. An acute understanding of various machine learning techniques and experience in cloud technologies, preferably AWS, is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates are familiar with MLOps, have led data mining initiatives, possess research published in notable publications, and have an innate drive to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
