About Your New Role

As a Senior Associate Data Product the Owner, you will utilize your project management prowess and deep industry knowledge to design, develop, and maintain sophisticated data solutions. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Leading project management efforts to deliver high-quality data products that align with strategic business goals and client needs.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to define data requirements, documenting the process, and ensuring the quality and consistency of data.
• Working closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and architects to develop functional specifications and data models suitable for our agile work environment.
• Managing data quality programs to address and remedy data issues, enhancing user confidence in the data provided.
• Identifying and implementing improvements in data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Performing data discovery and analysis to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• At least 8 years of industry experience in data management, with substantial expertise in data processes and handling data across systems.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and familiar with HQL and SparkSQL.
• A minimum of 5 years in project management within an agile environment, including proficiency with JIRA.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey complex data concepts to a diverse audience.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills will enhance your candidacy:

• Knowledge of Corporate Bank Lending and Financial Services Operations.
• Experience with Python, ETL tasks, and migrating data workflows to cloud environments like AWS.
• Familiarity with modern databases (Teradata, Oracle), Snowflake, and BI tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
