Purpose of the Job

As a Senior BI Analyst at Orange Egypt, your role will be to develop, implement, test, debug, and provide ongoing support for data reporting and extraction tasks. You will be vital in handling reporting tasks related to our Data Warehouse (DWH) & application reporting areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

Join our dynamic team and contribute by:

• Developing functionalities for DW and business intelligence reporting using a range of tools for data extraction, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Supporting end users to optimize their use of applications related to reporting.
• Documenting all changes, modifications, and activities related to development reporting.
• Monitoring and ensuring the quality of query performances and outputs.
• Meeting deadlines for both internal and external report submissions.
• Distributing report results as per the specified distribution lists.
• Assisting business domains with direct access to DWH and BSCS reporting servers.
• Maintaining and responding effectively to user reporting requirements (reports, data extraction).
• Constantly upgrading skills related to DWH and information systems.
• Developing necessary reports and presentation interfaces for Orange information systems.
• Enforcing procedures and workflow while automating reporting processes.
• Testing the performance of the developed data modules (extraction, scripting, reports).

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in information systems and business intelligence.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling methodologies and design principles specific to data warehousing.
• Proficiency in SQL for handling enterprise-class RDBMS.
• Familiarity with office and desktop applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Prior experience in the telecommunications sector is advantageous.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in data collection, reporting tools, and technologies in SQL, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills and aware of the entire DWH lifecycle.
• Strong programming and scripting abilities.
• Effective communication and good teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform research and development tasks.
• Fluency in English.
• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Adeptness at working collaboratively in a team environment.
