Job Opportunity: Senior BI Analyst

We are seeking a Senior BI Analyst with expertise in data manipulation and MI monitoring. Your role will help shape strategies for customers facing financial difficulties. At Zopa, we leverage data to drive decision-making, enhance strategies, and ensure optimal customer outcomes. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to manipulate data, build efficient MI monitoring systems, and drive strategic long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Senior BI Analyst at Zopa:

• Building, optimizing, and innovating processes, setting the standard for MI and data manipulation.
• Designing, delivering, and owning top-tier controls, reporting, and monitoring infrastructure.
• Managing stakeholder needs and expectations, delivering valuable developments while prioritizing effectively.
• Working with cutting-edge technology, such as Python for data analysis and machine learning, and Redshift for data warehousing.
• Identifying opportunities to optimize and enhance existing processes, thinking creatively to solve problems.
• Utilizing MI to identify trends and generate insights.
• Supporting the team in optimizing strategies for customers in financial difficulty across various lending products.
• Opportunities for learning DBT.

About You

You're the perfect fit if you:

• Have strong SQL abilities and experience with programming languages like Python.
• Have solid experience using Tableau or other BI tools such as Looker or Power BI.
• Possess 2+ years of hands-on experience with large datasets and MI creation.
• Have excellent attention to detail, comfortable navigating complicated data structures to ensure accuracy.
• Can identify improvement opportunities and drive projects from start to finish with strong time management.
• Are motivated by working in a customer-first business.
• Love delivering tools and initiatives that add value and support your team.
• Are a strong conceptual thinker, able to turn data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of transforming insights into coherent, impactful stories.
