Job Responsibilities

• Identify key growth, strategic, and optimization opportunities through data and communicate findings to business teams.

• Manage and train a team of junior data analysts

• Own & manage the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards.

• Work with large datasets on data extraction, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and presentation.

• Enable data-driven decision-making by identifying, structuring, and executing product and performance analyses.

• Build cross-functional relationships with the product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to guide key business decisions.

• Design, perform and analyze A/B tests with Growth team

• Provide teams with actionable insights, and reduce the number of business decisions made without data

• Conduct training sessions on data analytics for other teams in the company

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience in a related field

• 5+ years of relevant analytics experience

• Experience working with large data sets a plus

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of statistics (e.g., A/B testing, hypothesis testing, time series forecasting, etc.)

• High proficiency in BI data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio)

• High proficiency in SQL and comfort querying large datasets.

• High proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel)

• Outstanding stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to tell meaningful stories with data, and deliver data-driven insights to different types of audiences.

What will make you stand out

• Proficiency with Python or R for data analytics (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, dplyr)

• Good understanding of the EdTech market, specifically in the context of Bangladesh

• Prior startup experience
