Job Description: Senior BI Developer

Seize this exciting opportunity to join CVS Health's IT Reporting & Analytics team. This team is dedicated to providing detailed data analyses, reports, dashboards, and O365-based BI solutions focused on Availability, Incident, Problem, and Change Management. As a Senior BI Developer, you will create intuitive, user-friendly automation and BI solutions using the Microsoft Office 365 application suite. Expert experience with PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, SharePoint, and Excel is essential. Proficiency with other BI tools, ETL processes, and dashboard design is also required. You’ll need strong technical and interpersonal skills and the readiness to join a dynamic, high-profile business area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting dashboards, to aid business requirements and inform decision-making.
  • Optimize and fine-tune BI solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring timely delivery of reports and dashboards.
  • Leverage the Microsoft O365 suite of products to develop and maintain automation and data intake solutions (SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate).
  • Develop and maintain complex algorithms and data integrations to support IT Service Management reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs, document requirements, and deliver targeted BI and automation solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience designing and maintaining end-to-end BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting dashboards, preferably within an IT setting.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft PowerBI (including Capacity and Gateway management).
  • 5+ years of experience with MS O365 SharePoint, PowerApps, and/or PowerAutomate.
  • 5+ years of experience with MS Excel (including Data Models and Power Query).
  • 3+ years of experience in data modeling techniques, relational databases, and/or SQL query optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with other BI and analytics tools (Tableau, SAP, SAS, Alteryx, etc.).
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Service Management and ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and best practices.
  • Professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet team-oriented.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Influential and practiced in negotiating win-win outcomes.
  • ITIL v4 certification.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $124,372.50 - $247,200.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, geography, and other relevant elements. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, along with the base pay range listed above. It also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
