Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about proving their capabilities and driving initiatives with full accountability. The ideal candidate is a team player who can also manage projects independently, with a strong desire to gain cross-domain expertise. This is a contractual position for a Senior BI Developer at METRO/MAKRO.

Technical Skills

• Business Intelligence (BI): Project delivery experience in BI solutions such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Google Data Studio (GDS), etc.
• SAP BW + SAP Analysis for Office: Preferred experience in these tools.
• Designing wireframes and dashboards to address relevant business problems – both managerial and operational.

Other Tools

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including creating tables with formulas, pivots and charts, and Macros.
• Working experience with Microsoft Access.

Non-Technical Skills

• Strong communication skills to effectively explain complex business analyses and insights.
• Ability to think strategically, provide valuable recommendations, and validate solution designs for projects.
• Experience in mentoring a team of junior BI Analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst.
• Proven ability to manage data engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Expertise in translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
