Position: Senior BI Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Onsite at Rocket Lab's global headquarters in Long Beach, CA

As a Senior BI Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for developing BI reports and datasets to provide analytics primarily to Supply Chain business users. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Business Intelligence standards and our technology platform, measuring output and identifying bottlenecks. This role requires a proactive, inquiry-driven individual capable of working independently and collaboratively across Rocket Lab.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create insightful visualizations and reports using Power BI.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of deliverables.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all reports and data deliverables.
• Analyze and suggest process improvements for Supply Chain & ERP systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers to mine data and help architect the reporting layer.
• Perform analyses to discover trends and identify weaknesses or improvements, presenting data meaningfully.
• Manage reporting architecture, including delivery methods, reusability, calendars, scheduling, and ad-hoc reporting.
• Drive data analysis and process improvement activities collaboratively.
• Apply process improvement techniques to enhance efficiency and output.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in BI Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of Power BI experience, including DAX and Power Query.
• Proficient in SQL, including PL/SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes, KPIs, and standard reporting.
• 2 years of experience on the Azure cloud platform.
• 1 year of experience in Python programming.
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and data point identification.
• Strong communication skills with business users.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.

• Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate a computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.

Compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
