Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you will immerse yourself in a complex ecosystem enriched with cutting-edge technologies. You will play a pivotal role in contributing to, maintaining, and designing the evolution of our Big Data platform based on Apache Flink.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of experience in complex software architecture development within a web environment
• Proficiency in coding with languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, networking fundamentals, and the HTTP protocol
• Experience with designing and understanding microservices architectures
• Hands-on knowledge of Big Data Architectures for real-time processing (e.g., Apache Flink)
• Experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (OpenSearch) databases
• In-depth knowledge of Kafka
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in English
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum
• Familiarity with Git workflows
• Knowledge of Gradle
• Understanding of Druid/Pinot or BigQuery
• Experience with caching solutions like Redis
• Knowledge of Looker
• Interest in ML/AI
