About This Role

We are on the lookout for a Senior Big Data Engineer with a passion for cloud technologies, big data, and distributed systems. This role is crucial in designing and building essential components and infrastructure for our data science and engineering teams. As a part of our R&D center in Tel Aviv, you will engage in an empowering and collaborative work culture, encouraging each team member to think and act like business owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure that enables engineers and data scientists to create top-tier machine learning products.
• Optimize scalability and maintain enterprise-grade production services in a high-volume environment.
• Take ownership of designing new products and seamlessly integrate with existing practices.
• Utilize modern technologies such as Spark, Delta Lake, Elasticsearch, Kafka, DynamoDB, K8s, and more.
• Collaborate within a skilled team dedicated to making the impossible possible daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of coding experience in Python or Scala.
• Proven track record of managing features from conception to deployment.
• Proficiency in Spark, Flink, MapReduce, Airflow, Kafka, and SQL databases.
• Experience handling data in high volume, high availability production systems.
• Strong command of SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in algorithm design, implementation, or machine learning.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
