The DIS Product Developer Expert will consult with key stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities to develop enhanced data accuracy tools, including reports, dashboards, and delivery. The DM Specialist Expert will translate business requirements into analytics and reporting needs, design, build and test data accuracy products to assist Experian’s data furnishers in improving and maintaining the quality of their reported data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, codes and implements programs in Python and other languages, for a specific delegated software system or systems, which may include PC or Web development tools.
  • Identifies and resolves application, database software, and programming problems.
  • Supports integrated applications with a comprehension of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Translate business requirements into precise data analytics reports.
  • Takes responsibility for key strategic client projects and consistently delivers the product on time.
  • Ensures the data is available, retrieves the data from various source, organizes the data in a visual and structured method, and delivers the product on time.

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Good understanding of C#, Java, or equivalent programming languages
  • Good knowledge of language and database concepts (DB2 and MySQL are mandatory).
  • Experience with AWS services (Athena, Glue, SageMaker, etc.) are preferred.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouse or analytical tools for business purposes (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) are highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to critically think to identify and relate business issues to data quality issues and vice versa.
  • Ability to creatively navigate through various system constraints and create comprehensive dashboards/reports based on data from diverse sources.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Must be a strong self-learner.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be proactive.
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of credit bureau data and the financial industry is a plus.
