Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Maternity Cover) at VF Corporation - Stabio, Switzerland

VF Corporation is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence EMEA team in Stabio, Switzerland. This is a maternity cover contract.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and deploying key strategic BI solutions. You will support VF business users in their daily activities, ensuring product adoption and contributing to the ongoing improvement of reporting data quality. An advanced ability to conceptualize and test solutions, from source systems to BI solutions, is essential. Direct exposure to the end-user community is also key in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting and planning responsibilities
• Collect and understand business requirements
• Convert business requirements into logical data models and high-level technical requirements
• Share gathered information with the technical team and regularly check implementations
• Lead knowledge exchange and best practice sharing with the BI end-user community
• Verify data consistency between source systems and BI solutions, supporting UAT
• Implement reports and dashboards as a SuperUser when needed

Skills for Success

To succeed in this role, you must be able to translate our business objectives into a coherent BI design, follow up with the implementation team, and double-check final deliverables. A service-oriented approach and the following skills are crucial:

• Teamwork skills to support and learn from the Analytics and Reporting Team
• Understanding of main business processes (Sales, Warehousing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Finance & Controlling)
• Experience in converting business requirements into logical data modeling (consultancy experience is a plus)
• Experience in Apparel/Fashion industry, Direct-to-Consumer, and Wholesale channels
• Basic understanding of BI/Data-Warehouse applications
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data investigations, SAP back-end tables, and visual insight platforms like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos
• Experience with relational databases (SAP HANA, SQL Server, Redshift...)
