Job Summary: Senior Cloud & AI Developer/Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer specializing in cloud native services, AI, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS and additional experience in GCP or Azure is a plus. Your role will involve designing complex systems, self-service user and admin portals, and cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Cloud-Native solutions utilizing AI and cloud services to automate complex tasks.
- Apply expertise in DevOps and Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) delivery models.
- Develop reusable platforms, ensuring simplicity for end-users while managing complexity internally.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud network and security.
- Collaborate with other teams to educate them on cloud and AI best practices.
- Create automation tools to improve cloud project efficiency.
- Design solutions with a focus on scalability, resiliency, cost, and security.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Senior Developer with extensive use of AWS services.
- Proficiency in serverless, managed services, API-Governance, and basic networking.
- Experience with AWS Step Functions, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, APIGW/Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalks.
- Expertise in AI SDK and services, including genAI, prompt engineering, and use of multiple LLM models.
- Strong coding and scripting skills in Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, PowerShell, SSM, etc.
- Experience in automated build-pipeline, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in developing Enterprise Internal Development Platforms.
- Expertise in cloud security and access models.
- Background in data engineering and programming with genAI.
- Familiarity with AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and monitoring tools.
- Strong Linux and Windows server configuration, CLI, scripting, and automation skills.
- Proficiency in UX design using React GUI and REST/GraphQL API.
Educational, Professional, and Technical Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years in hands-on coding roles related to cloud and software development.
- At least 3+ years of direct experience working with AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Willingness to work occasionally in a 24x7 on-call cycle.
- Solid communication skills capable of conveying complex technology concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Developer
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (Associate or Professional)
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate
- Any Azure or Google Cloud certifications
