Job Opportunity: Senior Cloud Architect

We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team at Sportian. If you are passionate about cloud technologies and want to make an impact in the sports industry, read on!

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement various Cloud Solutions (IaaS, PaaS, etc.) for Azure.
• Migrate on-prem infrastructure to the cloud.
• Set up, maintain, and improve existing cloud implementations.
• Enhance the cost-efficiency of cloud operations.
• Design new cloud infrastructures.
• Automate resource creation on the cloud.

What Will Help You Succeed

• Experience with the Azure data stack, including resources like Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, SQL Database, and Power BI Administration.
• Proficiency in managing Azure Cloud resources such as AKS, ACR, Event Hub, Application Gateway, WAF Policies, NAT Gateways, DNS, VNETs, VMs, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, scalable applications, Node Pool management, Network Policies, version upgrades, and maintenance of deployment manifests.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell are required, with Python expertise highly valued.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, Git (e.g., Bitbucket), Sonar, Nexus, Jira, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
