Job Description

Due to increasing demand for our Infrastructure Digital - Data and Analytics services, we are looking to hire SC-cleared Senior Consultants to drive data excellence within our team and clients. We are looking for commercially and technically savvy managers with a history of successful client engagements. This role requires the ability to manage relationships and provide technical guidance across a multidisciplinary team of data visualisation, automation, infrastructure, and data science experts.

The Role
 
As part of this role, you will:

  • Have a robust technical background and be able to interface with clients and technical teams 
  • Lead client engagements, oversee delivery strategy, and provide technical delivery and assurance for projects 
  • Design, develop, and deliver data-powered solutions in collaboration with clients and other business units to drive insights and performance
  • Produce design documents and technical specifications, including functional and non-functional requirements and end-to-end data processes 
  • Lead and contribute to business development activities and proposal writing 
  • Identify and establish new relationships, while maintaining and developing existing ones 
  • Support the construction and deployment of data systems and their data pipelines, and resolve data quality issues 
  • Provide support and collaboration in multidisciplinary delivery environments 
  • Create high-quality communication materials, documentation, and presentations 
  • Promote innovation and growth, actively mentor others and cultivate an inclusive culture 
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of T&T's documentation and processes, transforming knowledge or experience into new ideas or solutions

Qualifications

Skills required for this role include:

  • Proven track record of implementing data reporting and dashboard solutions 
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodology 
  • Hands-on experience designing or implementing data architecture with an understanding of the Azure data stack 
  • Hands-on experience working with analytics languages such as SQL or Python 
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and Version Control 
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal – able to translate complex technical subject matter into easily understood presentations and written documentation for diverse technical audiences.

Desirable skills include:

  • Experience in unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing 
  • Some knowledge of Data Science approach and best practices 
  • Understanding of or experience in data modelling including Kimball 
  • Experience translating designs of Azure data solutions into action 
  • Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation of data platform and Azure technologies 
  • Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, DevOps and infrastructure teams, data scientists, and so on 
  • Understanding of Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard and success in GDS assessments 
  • Experience in Digital Twin and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions
