About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at CommBank, you'll coordinate the definition of business and functional requirements, providing specialist support and comprehensive solutions that facilitate project and operational successes. By engaging with stakeholders, you will strive to understand and enhance the organizational processes, driving the achievement of strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Code of Conduct and uphold the standards of behavior and decision-making expected within CommBank.
• Deliver high-quality project workstreams and oversee quality control areas you manage.
• Recommend data-driven enhancements to processes and systems, addressing both current and anticipated customer needs.
• Manage supplier relationships and engage in compliance and software updates planning.
• Support effective change, capacity, and release management initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and potentially lead small functional teams.
• Complete additional tasks in line with bank policies and regulatory requirements as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in Abinitio, SAP Ariba, and various integration tools such as Autosys, SFTP, APIs, etc.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and JIRA.
• Minimum of 6-9 years’ experience with at least two years focused on procurement applications.
• Experience with SaaS solutions and technology-driven project management.

Qualifications

A Graduate degree is required to be eligible for this role, and prior experience within the Commonwealth Bank Group is advantageous.
