Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

• Build scalable and streamlined data models using PL/SQL queries on Snowflake
• Improve Performance, efficiency, and accuracy of usage data & quality solutions and assets
• Identify opportunities for improvements and drive process and reporting enhancements, develop new tools, and collaborate across other Analytics teams to help scale the process with ServiceNow’s growth
• Strictly adhere to all documented architecture, design & deployment standards & processes to ensure compliance with policies
• Partner with the Global team to help implement solutions for end-user adoption
• Develop functional subject matter expertise within various areas of enterprise business processes
• Responsible for troubleshooting data issues and conducting root cause analysis when reporting data in question
• Keep pace with the latest technology advances in Snowflake and BI tools

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or similar
• Over 7 years of experience in database architecture, data warehousing, data modelling, consulting, business intelligence or analytics space with experience in PL/SQL, Snowflake and another object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development activities such as reporting, creating views, SQL queries, stored procedures/table functions
• Experience working on SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Data Replication, Data-sharing & Data-ingestion into Snowflake
• Experience with Data Architecture, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security & Performance Optimization
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams across different geographies
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team
• Demonstrable prior and current technical expertise in analytics technologies and the ability to learn new technology
• Snowflake core advanced certification is a plus
• Experience developing dashboards in Tableau/Power BI is a plus
• Knowledge of GenAI is a big plus
