Job Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to enhance our data capabilities. As a key player in our data team, you will lead the development and maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensure the integrity of data assets, and collaborate with analysts and scientists to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy data-driven software solutions using Python, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver effective software solutions.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and foster a culture of constructive feedback.
• Resolve software issues in collaboration with operations teams.
• Keep abreast of emerging tech trends to continuously enhance our software development practices.
• Mentor junior developers and advocate for best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 12 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Python, SQL, and ETL tools.
• Proven understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills in English and experience with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, data modeling, database design, and automated testing frameworks.
