Position Summary

As a Senior Data Engineer at CVS Health, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data structures and developing data engineering pipelines across varying platforms. You will be tasked with the creation of sophisticated data marts and contributing to machine learning projects, all tailored to enhance our data-driven health solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and integrate complex data sources into large-scale engineering pipelines.
• Develop and maintain robust pipelines using PySpark, Python, or Java to manage real-time and batch processing data needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, business, and data science departments to drive innovation through data transformation.
• Build, scale, and optimize large ML systems, ensuring seamless deployment and continuous updates.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-6+ years of significant experience in data engineering, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Proficiency with GCP, Azure, or AWS – with a strong preference for Google Cloud Platform expertise.
• Demonstrated ability in handling large volumes of data and developing complex data pipelines.
• Expertise in CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare sector, with a solid understanding of data warehousing and data architecture.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and experience with large-scale LLMs or NLP-based solutions.
• GCP Certifications, particularly Professional Data Engineer.

What We Offer

Our employees enjoy competitive salaries, with a pay range of $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for various incentive programs.
